WTCE (Non-Credit) to Curriculum Credit
|
|
Workforce, Technologies, and Community Education courses at SCC are designed to provide individuals with new and/or upgraded job skills. In instances where the courses provide the same competencies as credit-bearing courses, the college awards credit for prior learning. The courses in the college’s locally approved CE to CU articulation are evaluated regularly by qualified faculty in the respective program of study. This articulation complies with all relevant SACSCOC and NCCCS guidelines.
To be eligible for articulation of CE to CU credit, students must meet the following criteria:
- Show evidence of successful completion of articulated course(s)
- Meet all admissions requirements
- Be enrolled in an associated certificate, diploma, or degree for which credit will be awarded
