Course Description
The Human Resources Development Program provides employability skills for unemployed and underemployed adults. The framework of the course can be based on four post-employment service strategies: transition, advancement, retention, and remployment. Program Learning Outcomes
The curriculum addresses six core components:
- Assessment of individual’s assets and limitations
- Development of a positive self-concept
- Development of employability skills
- Development of communication skills
- Development of problem-solving skills
- Awareness of the impact of information technology in the workplace
Employment Opportunities
Upon completion of this course, individuals will be able to apply for employment, re-employment, or advancement. Those returning to school will benefit from the career exploration and training success strategies.
