This course covers the basic and technical skills needed to prepare students for advanced, high- performance manufacturing environments. Course topics include safety, quality practices & measurement; manufacturing processes & production; and maintenance awareness. The course prepares students for the assessments in the four content modules of the Manufacturing Skill Standards Certification (MSSC). *This course articulates to credit at Surry Community College.*
