This course introduces the rules and techniques for sports officiating in baseball and softball. Emphasis is placed on officiating fundamentals and responsibilities. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate proper mechanics and knowledge of officiating procedures in baseball and softball. *This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a pre-major/elective course.*
