Certificate Description
The Certified Production Technician (CPT) program provides a nationally portable, industry-led program that prepares and certifies individuals for career pathways in advanced manufacturing. This training program delivers the 21st Century, in-demand skills that today’s employers need for over 6 million front line production jobs. CPT is comprised of four individual credentials: Safety & Employability, Manufacturing Process & Production, Quality Practices & Measurement, and Maintenance Awareness. Achievement for all four credentials yields the full Certified Production Technician credential. This workforce certificate is offered to high school students through the Career and College Promise (CCP) Program.
Employment Opportunities
Upon completion of this course, individuals should be able to apply for entry-level positions with industrial and manufacturing companies.
