Workforce Career Certificate
The Certified Production Technician program provides a nationally portable, industry-led program that prepares and certifies individuals for career pathways in advanced manufacturing. This training program delivers the 21st Century, in-demand skills that today’s employers need for over 6 million frontline production jobs. CPT is comprised of four individual credentials: Safety & Employability, Manufacturing Process & Production, Quality Practices & Measurement, and Maintenance Awareness. Achievement for all four credentials yields the full Certified Production Technician credential. The Certified Production Technician will articulate to college curriculum credit and is available to high school juniors and seniors through the College and Career Promise program. https://surry.edu/cpt
