This certification-related course in common passenger vehicles (operations and technician level) will present the Technical Rescurer (TR) with information on vehicle anatomy and will introduce new technologies in vehicle devices which present hazards for rescue personnel. Topics included in this course are site operations, mechanical energy and vehicle anatomy, supplemental restraint systems, and advanced vehicle technology: alternative fuel vehicles. This course will be offered consistent with the most current NC Fire and Rescue Commission guidelines.
