This course provides students with foundational knowledge about the study of physical activity and career opportunities within the discipline. Emphasis will be placed on the role of physical activity, the subdisciplines of the field, and possible career choices. Upon completion, students should have an understanding of the subdisciplines and employment opportunities within an Exercise and Sport Science program. *This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a pre-major/elective course.*
