This course includes ladders, ventilation, ropes & knots, search & rescue, water supplies, hose, streams, and appliances, and emergency medical care. This course will present the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and ability to satisfy the requirements of NFPA 1001: Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications (2019 edition), as well as the Emergency Medical requirements found in Chapter 6 of NFPA 1001: Standard for Firefighter Professional (2019 edition). This course will be offered consistent with the most current NC Fire and Rescue Commission guidelines.
