This course surveys world developments since the end of World War II. Topics include the Cold War, nationalism, colonialism, the Third World, the arms race, and global capitalism and regionalism. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze significant political, socioeconomic, and cultural developments in the world since 1945. *This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.*
