This course will present the Instructor II candidate with the knowledge, skills, and ability to satisfy the requirements of NFPA 1041: Standard for Fire and Emergency Services Instructor Professional Qualifications (2019 edition; Chapter 5). Prerequisites: High School or equivalent required; Fire / Rescue Instructor 1 Certification. This curriculum should be offered consistent with the most current NC Fire and Rescue Commission guidelines; contact the Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM) for details. Effective date July 1, 2020/NFPA 1041 Standard 2019 edition.
