This course is governed by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission. This course is designed for currently sworn officers to provide the students with the skills to proficiently perform those tasks essential to function as a radar operator. Certification requires successfully completion of the course and State administered examination. Only employed, sworn, certified law enforcement personnel may enroll in this course and students must purchase a current radar manual prior to the first day of class.
