This course explores alternative technology for the workplace and workplace readiness. The use of tablets and smartphones are quickly replacing PCs for internet exploration, email and even other applications needed in job seeking. Students will be aware of the limitations of smartphone and tablets as well as learning the basics of operating systems and basic settings. Students will learn the basics of Apps: finding, downloading, and using Apps, as well as using these devices securely. There will also be an introduction to Cloud based technology as it relates to both job seekers and the business community.
