Students in this course will study and gain practical experience in the fundamental techniques of taxidermy. Course topics will include the mounting of deer, other large game heads as well as birds/waterfowl. The course will focus on animal identification, rebuilding techniques, specimen posing, and natural setting for displays. Molding techniques will also be demonstrated.
