This course introduces the principle genres of literature. Emphasis is placed on literary terminology, devices, structure, and interpretation. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze and respond to literature. *This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a general education course in Humanities/Fine Arts course.*
