Nurse Aide II Workforce Certificate

Course Description
This five-month Nurse Aide II Certificate course is designed to prepare graduates to perform more complex nursing care skills for patients or residents regardless of the setting. Course Learning Outcomes
Nurse Aide II students will:
- Discuss the role of the NA II
- Compare and contrast the role of the NA II with that of the NA I and of the licensed nurse
- Discuss supervision required for the NA II
- Collaborate safely to provide care to individuals and assists interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrate the skills of the NA II as delineated by the NCBON
Employment Opportunities
Upon completion of this course, individuals should be able to apply for positions in hospitals and skilled facilities that recognize Nurse Aide II.

Nurse Aide II Workforce Certificate Course
- NAS - 3241 Nurse Aide Level II (WTCE) High School diploma or equivalent required and current NC Nurse Aide I certification.
College curriculum credit for Nurse Aide II can be awarded once the student completes the NAS 3241 course and after successfully passing the certification examination.
