Certificate Description
The General Maintenance Technician Certificate Program offers comprehensive training in electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Through a blend of theorectical learning and hands-on experience, students acquire the skills needed to diagnose, repair, and maintain various systems and structures. Upon completion, students are prepared to enter the workforce as skilled technicians capable of tackling diverse maintenance challenges in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
This Workforce Certificate is available to high school juniors and seniors through the Career and College Promise program.
Employment Opportunities
Upon completion of this course, individuals should be able to apply for entry-level positions with industrial and manufacturing companies, school systems, or health care facilities.
